The animation shows the hydraulic telescopic system designed to raise the temporary piers that are needed to bridge the distance between the fixed piers during the launching of the deck. The “climbing” hydraulic system includes a synchronized monitoring and control system.

To launch the pre-fabricated deck on to the temporary and final piers a controlled hydraulic system was designed to work on each individual pier. The animation shows the hydraulic launching process including the detailed hydraulic system and the controlled operation and monitoring sytem.
